The vase technique is “Lattimo Filigrana.” The “fazzoletto” design and form was originally created by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini in 1949. Other leading Murano furnaces like Seguso Vetri d’Arte and Fratelli Toso soon replicated this popular handkerchief design. Provenance: Collection of Leslie & Ramon Pina, Beachwood, Ohio.
