Additional Information: The vase technique is “Lattimo Filigrana.” The “fazzoletto” design and form was originally created by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini in 1949. Other leading Murano furnaces like Seguso Vetri d’Arte and Fratelli Toso soon replicated this popular handkerchief design. Provenance: Collection of Leslie & Ramon Pina, Beachwood, Ohio. Leslie Pina has authored over fifty books on 20th-century design, each focused on a specific area she and her husband Ramon personally collected and studied.
