Freddy Wittop's drawing depicts costumes he designed for the 1965 Broadhurst Theatre production. Costume designer Freddy Wittop won a Tony Award for his work on "Hello, Dolly!" and was also the recipient of a TDF Irene Sharaff Award for lifetime achievement in theatrical costume design. Provenance: Freddy Wittop Estate | Private Collection, Palm Beach, Florida, by descent as part of a larger collection of the artist's work.
